Low Start Up
The school where I worked as a Primary Teacher decides on building a computer classroom complete with state-of-art desktop computers, chairs, table and of course servers for internet connection. After all, computer plays a role in the society. Almost all the private schools in our county have it already. For the past two years we are renting in one of the internet shops near the school.
To start with, the faculty and staff decided on having IBM xSeries Servers. It is fast, reliable and of outstanding quality. As much as we wanted to have it, our current budget was not feasible. So we decided to shop around.
I then remembered my bowling buddy who owns a computer shop stating about reselling his Used xSeries. I called him and immediately and got the website of the store/dealer. Then we did a live chat with the representative of the store and were able to be provided with Used xSeries servers, though refurbished, the quality was comparable with IBM xSeries Servers.
The servers then were sent to us after a week of purchasing it online. It had been more than year now since we were using the refurbished servers and it had not given us any down time errors.
