My best friend Kelly invited me to visit her house over the weekend. Her parents would be away for the holidays. And it was a great time to escape my very hot apartment. Why? The air conditioner is broken. It conked out a few weeks ago and when I told the landlord about my problem, she told me to just wait for the ac contractors in Tampa to drop by anytime soon. But soon is not my cup of tea. I want now. The air conditioner is the most important thing in a very hot environment. I don’t want to go to my best friend’s house not until the air conditioning problem is resolved. I don’t want things left undone and do something else. It has never been my style to do that. And since the landlord just told me to wait and weekend is fast approaching, I decided to contact a repair company myself. I don’t want to waste waiting for the landlord’s repair company to come.
