I wanted to start up one of those coffee shops where people can come in and check their email and stuff. I guess that some people carry their laptops but just in case they did not have a computer with them, I wanted to have a few scattered throughout the shop for them to use.

I started by looking online and found that I could never afford to buy all brand new computers. I then turned to sites where you could get used computers. The site I ended up using had used poweredge servers for a fraction of the cost of a new one. I bought a used dell from them, to test the quality of their stuff first. I did not want to order a bunch and find out that they sold junk.

I set up the used dell in my kitchen so that I could let my wife use it and see if she liked it or not. If she liked it, then I would know that it would be worth it to buy more used poweredge servers to have in my new business.

She decided about two weeks later, that she had put it to the test and it passed. I ordered a used dell every week for six weeks. The coffee shop opened about two months after that. We put a different computer about every five feet in the shop and also had wireless for those who brought their own.
