Glow In the Dark at the Fun Fair

My best friend wanted to have a funfair at our kid’s school that would be one to remember. She is a very creative person so when she suggested that we have a glow in the dark room, I said okay. She knew that we could use glow paint on different props and the kids could walk through and see all of the glow art.

I suggested that we give them those glow sticks to hold on to while they walked through and she loved the idea of them being part of the art. We ordered about two thousand of the glow sticks in different colors. My daughters had already picked out their colors, one wanted green and one wanted to have pink.

The night of the fun fair, the kids were all excited to come to the glow in the dark room and get their glow sticks. We had decided to put the glow sticks on different colors of yarn to make necklaces for them and that way they would not drop them and lose them.

The whole fun fair was a huge success and we raised a ton of money that was going to be used to buy new playground activities for the kids. I think that the glow in the dark room earned a little over a thousand dollars because we charged the kids and their families a dollar every time they entered. It was a huge hit and many families came back a few times.
