I heard my coworker asking around for the name of a Minnesota window company that would do a good job. He had apparently inherited his great uncles home and needed to have some work done on it before moving in.

I told him of a Minnesota home improvement company that my parents had used about a year ago to redo their kitchen. My parents had both been very pleased with the company and so I was sure that they could do a good job for him too.

I called my mother to get the name of the Minnesota home improvement company and passed it on to my coworker. He had them come out and give him an estimate that night. He told me the next day, that they had given him a good estimate and he went ahead and hired them to be his Minnesota window company. I believe that the work took about three weeks from start to finish, because of them having to order some of the windows since they were a unique size because the house was so old.

I wondered if my coworker would be leaving our firm, because I found out that the house was an hour and a half from our office. He said that he was staying at the firm, and just making the long train ride every day.
