We Had To Install Wall Mount Brackets and Cat 6 Patch Panels Before Opening
We are opening a sports bar and are in the process of getting it all setup. It is a lot of work to get things ready, a lot more than we originally thought. We painted and did some typical upgrades but being a sports bar we just needed more outlets and a ton of wiring for all the televisions we were putting up. I think we bought about 20 or 25 wall mount brackets for all the flat screens that we had purchased from another bar that went out of business last year. With all the wiring and connections we decided to install a bunch of cat 6 patch panels to make life easier. Cat 6 patch panels are boxes that house a bunch of connections that are faced with switches and connectors which make it easy to switch channels within the network system. These cat 6 patch panels had to be put in the walls so that meant busting some of them open and then fixing them later. Installing all the wall mount brackets was not an easy chore either. They have to be pretty secure so they would never fall off the wall and injure someone. Hanging all the televisions on the wall mount brackets also took some time. We are getting it all together and hopefully can open very soon.
