Rest Your Body to Gain Weight
Do you think body building, is all about weight training exercises? Proper physical training, bodybuilding diet and adequate sleep are all equally important. Building muscles is not, spending time in a gym and training hard, it is giving your body sufficient rest also.
Training for more hours and resting little results in failure. The sole purpose of body building is lost, because you end up in losing weight.
Excess of body training will lead to a syndrome called overtraining syndrome (OTS) which increases Cortisol level. Cortisol is a stress hormone which breaks the muscle tissue. Constant overtraining happens, when your body is trained beyond its capacity.
Overtraining your body will damage the muscle mass. It will not get enough time to re build and repair. Muscle tissues tear during the training process and, after a short period of time, it repairs and builds stronger muscles. But, lack of proper rest to the body, ceases the opportunity to build the muscles.
The OTS syndrome can be cured by proper rest. Sometimes, you need to take rest for few days, decreasing the training sessions. Bodybuilding supplements with Glutamine, are taken to speed up the recovery process.
Sleep is the best form of resting the body. Sleep well, because it improves the concentration level, makes your body, healthy and strong. During sleep, your body gains weight. Even after good sleep, you have to; rest a lot for reducing the stress level.
The combination of weight training exercises, good diet and rest is important to gain weight and increase your muscle mass.
